空き教室は公民館
私がボランティアをしている小学校では、空き教室を公民館のように利用して今日もたくさんの人が訪れました。
At the elementary school where I volunteer, an empty classroom is used like a small community space. Many people visited today.
１歳半の赤ちゃん、お母さん、ボランティアのミーティング、地域コーディネーターの打ち合わせ、教室には入れないけれど、この教室なら登校できる子の居場所
There was a one-and-a-half-year-old baby and his mother, a volunteer meeting, a discussion with the community coordinator, and even a child who can’t attend regular classes but can come to this room and feel safe.
みんなが集まれるように大丈夫だよって伝えます。
あなたも、この場所も、大丈夫。
We try to tell everyone, “It’s okay.”
You’re okay. This place is okay.
安心できる居場所を増やせたらと思います。
I hope we can create more spaces where people feel safe and accepted.
